Save UR Bandwidth Using firefox

Using firefox

If u have installed firefox then install these plugins

a) image pref

Show images and hide images using a status bar button. (Without reloading)

Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won’t get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it.

c)Adblock Plus

Ever been annoyed by all those ads and banners on the internet that often take longer to download than everything else on the page? Install Adblock Plus now and get rid of them. Right-click on a banner and choose “Adblock” from the context menu – the banner won’t be downloaded again. Or open Adblock Plus sidebar to see all elements of the page and block the banners. You can use filters with wildcards or even regular expressions to block complete banner factories.

d)Adblock filter update

This is a companion extension to Adblock and should be used in conjunction with it. This extension automatically downloads the latest version of Filterset.G every 4-7 days. Filterset.G is an excellent set of filters maintained by G for Adblock that blocks most ads on the internet. In addition, this extension allows you to define your own set of filters that you can add along with Filterset.G during an update.

e)Tab Mix Plus enhances Firefox’s tab browsing capabilities. It includes such features as duplicating tabs, controlling tab focus, tab clicking options, undo closed tabs and windows, plus much more. It also includes a full-featured session manager with crash recovery that can save and restore combinations of opened tabs and windows.

And for IE user’s
I have came to this blog, so i want to share with you . though i haven’t tested it.

1)Goto and download the zip file (it is about 135 kBs)
2)Unzip and install the software
3)After installing you can see its icon in system tray. Three squares, all white when the plugin blocks, and red & green when the plugin is inactive.
3)Right Click on this icon, select “Show main window”.
4)Check all boxes there and enable “Scripting(Pop-up windows,Animated ads)”
5)Also check “Launch with Windows strtup” and “Startup minimized in systemtray”
6)Click OK
7)Right Click the system tray icon again and goto Flash–>Block Flash (just to make sure that everything is OK)
8)Also check whether Script–>Enable script is selected

Whenever you wanna enable any of these elements temporarily, just right click the system tray icon and open the main window uncheck the required elements, click OK and then, ONLY THEN, open a new explorer window.

WARNING:- As far as I know this plugin only works with IE 6. Not sure about IE 7 or above and below IE 6. And it will not work with Opera or firefox and other non-IE browsers.

Increase Your Net Speed

I am regular Internet User since lat 5 years. But still in our country(India) the Internet Speed is kept second priority while considering the Internet brand, accessibility, etc. But there are not many people; I have not found many people so far who are really interested in Best Internet speed. As awareness is going around the world, now broadband companies are in flourishing zone.

But regular complaint I always receive is broadband companies do charges more. Usually it’s true. So you can permanently get rid of broadband problem by installing Onspeed because it’s the best software ii have tested so far. As it is useful but it’s expensive too. So download a free trial at here.

There are always work is going on for Onspeed crack but until we find the solution u can use it a nice way if you are little smarter.

I would suggest you to register it using a fake ID. On every id it gives you free trial for 14 day’s. So after every 14 day’s you have to register it again by using another ID. And you can create such fake ID @
1. My most favorite.
2. Good One

Bsnl Broadband On Linux

I am putting this thread to help you with the BSNL broadband. I have searched a lot thrugh Google, but I am not able to get the proper result’s for BSNl connection through linux box.This document describes howto setup bsnl broadband service on your gnu/linux server/desktop. It assumes that you are neither linux beginer nor an expert, but It assumes that you are aware of basic gnu/linux commands.
I hope you have configured your network interface,(if not then I am going to post a similar post about how to configure it).
I have installed it on redhat 10. It is expected to work on following distributions:

* FC1
* FC2
* FC3
* FC4
* FC5

An unofficial FAQ on Dataone can be found here.

Some Pre-Requisites

* Please ensure that you have connected a working ethernet card which is supported on gnu/linux. Test the ethernet card & ensure that it is working.
* Root access to a gnu/linux box

Before we start, please ensure that you have the following details on hand:

* BSNL Broadband connection -:)
* Username & Password

Using RP-PPPOE as dialer:
1) Installation: Bsnl network uses PPPOE dialer to connect the network.So,you must install this dialer if it’s not present in your Sytem.
RPM Package GUI
Now, after downloading this file , navigate to that folder and type a cmd to install.
# rpm -vih rp-pppoe-gui-3.5-1.i386.rpm
It would install a package, after that you can proceed to next step.

Command Useful for Setup:
adsl-setup – to configure the connection parameters
adsl-start – to start the connection
adsl-status – to check status of the connection
adsl-stop – to stop the connection

Now proceed as give below:

# adsl-setup
Welcome to the Roaring Penguin ADSL client setup. First, I will run
some checks on your system to make sure the PPPoE client is installed

Looks good! Now, please enter some information:

>>> Enter your PPPoE user name (default_test@dataone):

>>> Enter the Ethernet interface connected to the ADSL modem
For Solaris, this is likely to be something like /dev/hme0.
For Linux, it will be ethn, where ‘n’ is a number.
(default eth0):

Do you want the link to come up on demand, or stay up continuously?
If you want it to come up on demand, enter the idle time in seconds
after which the link should be dropped. If you want the link to
stay up permanently, enter ‘no’ (two letters, lower-case.)
NOTE: Demand-activated links do not interact well with dynamic IP
addresses. You may have some problems with demand-activated links.
>>> Enter the demand value (default no):Normally you can leave it blank

Please enter the IP address of your ISP’s primary DNS server.
If your ISP claims that ‘the server will provide DNS addresses’,
enter ‘server’ (all lower-case) here.
If you just press enter, I will assume you know what you are
doing and not modify your DNS setup.
>>> Enter the DNS information here:
Please enter the IP address of your ISP’s secondary DNS server.
If you just press enter, I will assume there is only one DNS server.
>>> Enter the secondary DNS server address here:

>>> Please enter your PPPoE password:
>>> Please re-enter your PPPoE password:

Please choose the firewall rules to use. Note that these rules are
very basic. You are strongly encouraged to use a more sophisticated
firewall setup; however, these will provide basic security. If you
are running any servers on your machine, you must choose ‘NONE’ and
set up firewalling yourself. Otherwise, the firewall rules will deny
access to all standard servers like Web, e-mail, ftp, etc. If you
are using SSH, the rules will block outgoing SSH connections which
allocate a privileged source port.

The firewall choices are:
0 – NONE: This script will not set any firewall rules. You are responsible
for ensuring the security of your machine. You are STRONGLY
recommended to use some kind of firewall rules.
1 – STANDALONE: Appropriate for a basic stand-alone web-surfing workstation
2 – MASQUERADE: Appropriate for a machine acting as an Internet gateway
for a LAN
>>> Choose a type of firewall (0-2): 2

** Summary of what you entered **

Ethernet Interface: eth0
User name: test@dataone
Activate-on-demand: No
Primary DNS:
Secondary DNS:
Firewalling: MASQUERADE

>>> Accept these settings and adjust configuration files (y/n)? y
Adjusting /etc/ppp/pppoe.conf
Adjusting /etc/resolv.conf
(But first backing it up to /etc/resolv.conf-bak)
Adjusting /etc/ppp/pap-secrets and /etc/ppp/chap-secrets
(But first backing it up to /etc/ppp/pap-secrets-bak)
(But first backing it up to /etc/ppp/chap-secrets-bak)

Congrats, Now it should be all done.
Just type adsl-start to begin the connection.
